Paddle along the Rio Montaña through the extraordinary mangrove where you can observe one of the most unique ecosystems of the planet. Here trees have many adaptations to survive in a mixture of river water and seawater such as the distinctive aerial prop roots and the peculiar ability of the trees to excrete salt from their leaves. A true bird-watcher’s paradise you might even catch a glimpse of the Mangrove Hummingbird found only in Costa Rica. Includes a stop at a black sand beach for refreshments and fruit.

Kayak SUP Ocean Tours
Depart from the bay of Garza, paddle out into the ocean towards Pink Beach on Isla Rosada which gets its pink hues from thousands of broken coral pieces and shells. Explore the outer reefs of Playa Guiones, or paddle around the bay of Garza. Make a stop mid-tour for refreshments and fruit, swimming and snorkeling.
